Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking for an experienced HR Compliance Analyst to join our growing corporate HR team! The HR Analyst is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills. This position requires excellent employee relations and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, HR Analysts should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships. Top candidates will be comfortable managing grey areas, and effective in exercising judgment on departmental operation goals, standards, training, policies, and procedures.

What the role looks like:
***This is a 90 day temp contract with the option to move to permanent.
· Document processes by creating standard operating procedures as needed and ensure all Compliance SOP’s are accurate, up to date and adhered to
· Organize, develop training for the HR and corporate population as needed
· Ensure HR practices and policies are consistently administered and aligned with organizational goals
· Focused on driving employee engagement, minimizing turnover and maximizing employee satisfaction.
· Participate in weekly staff meetings and attend other meetings and training as needed.
· Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
· Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
· Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Our ideal candidate will have:
· A bachelor’s degree or higher
· 5 years of Human Resources experience
· 1 year or more of experience with PeopleSoft
· Extensive knowledge or exposure to employment law – especially California regulations
· Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
· Effective oral and written communication skills & excellent interpersonal skills.
· Advanced Excel skills
· Experience working with union employees
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
