ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an ambitious Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate about playing a critical role in a company poised to innovate the healthcare services sector and reach stratospheric levels of growth and success. You should be customer centric, enjoy challenges, possess a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to getting things done in a less structured but highly collegial environment and be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (with some flexibility). Starting rate is $18 – $23 an hour based on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to functional areas of the HR department, such as recruiting and staffing, employee and labor relations, benefits and compensation, health and safety, records managements, and other related areas
- Build and maintain cross functional relationships throughout the organization
- Answers general questions or routes to appropriate functional area contact
- Sort mail and file documents into employee records
- Assist in explaining employee questions and address employee concerns
- Organizes and maintain files, correspondences, and records, ensuring that all record keeping is done in compliance with established corporate and legal standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist with recruiting efforts when needed
- Process new employment paperwork
- Assist with new hire data entry into the ADP system ensuring the integrity of all data entered
- Act as a resource for data-entering, processing, creating, and editing documents, printing, copying, faxing, and filing
- Ensure documents are in standard templates and facilitates content and material on HR SharePoint website
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
- High school required; bachelors preferred
- 1-2 years in an administrative function
- Strong team player and ability to work proactively
- Familiar with general office equipment
- Company information systems applications including Payroll/HR system and other associated human resource applications such as ATS, HRIS, etc. but not limited to these systems/applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and on a team
- Ability to dig in and take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to work independently and maintain open communication with coworkers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Some flexible regarding peak-time work requirements
- A commitment to excellence and the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels and roles.
