Founded in Amsterdam and headquartered in the cloud, Otrium also has hubs in New York and London. As a digital-first company, we work around the globe and don’t need to limit our HQ to one location or a single hub. Your impact
As our People Coordinator you’ll be working together with the People team to push our hyper growth even further in Europe & USA. You’ll get the huge responsibility of taking Otrium to the next level when it comes to our employee experience. The basis is set, but now it’s up to you and your People team colleagues to further develop our HR processes and structure throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding, payroll & benefits to offboarding. As a generalist, your main goal is to create an amazing employee experience by taking ownership of various People processes. It’s a very diverse role, in which you get to be extremely hands-on and be able to juggle a hundred things at the same time (time flies when you’re having fun!).
You will work in the People team, reporting to the Head of People. You will work closely together with our Talent Acquisition team, our other People Coordinator, the Hub Manager, and interns.

Your responsibilities
Further develop and/or create smooth processes and ensure all people admin activities are delivered on time and accurately;
Organizing and performing various People & Culture initiatives throughout the different phases of the employee journey, including: contracting, onboarding, employee engagement, professional development, performance management, data integrity, reporting, staffing, compensation & benefits, wellbeing, offboarding, culture initiatives and the related administrative tasks;
Creating the best working environment;
Supporting the further professionalization and innovation of our People processes, thinking creatively while keeping an eye on the most recent changes in Dutch employment law;
Pull and present people related reports and translate insights back to the business;
Being a trusted resource to your colleagues on a wide variety of people topics such as: benefits, time-off people operations, benefits administration, policies, HRIS and tools and systems;
About you
Commercial experience in full cycle HR, preferably within a start-up, scale-up or hyper-growth environment;
You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in;
Growth mindset: you like to take on challenges, are open to learn and can easily adapt in a dynamic environment. You work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment;
High level of organization, high ethical work standard, detail oriented, and able to prioritize your workload;
Good understanding of US labor law (preferably in the Tri-state area) additional international countries would be great but is not a prerequisite.
Experience with HRIS e.g. Bamboo.
