WHAT YOU WILL DO
Participate and/or leads various onboarding or HR projects and initiatives.
Serve as subject matter expert to determine system effectiveness, suggests continuous quality improvements, report and assesses outcomes.
Maintain data integrity in all systems, spreadsheets and documents to ensure that all stakeholders have real-time accurate information concerning new hires onboarding.
Initiate verbal and written correspondence to new coworkers clarifying each step in the onboarding process.
Coordinate all aspects of new hire programs to include Pre-Hire System Access, Background Check and Employee Health appointments, General Orientation Day 1, Orientation and Training Schedules.
Manage successful completion of all tasks to clear coworkers to begin employment and communicate change in employment status to new hires and stakeholders.
Serve as gatekeeper of the ID badge system, including the creation and distribution of the ID badges for all new coworkers, contractors, volunteers, physicians, students, etc.
Coordinate replacement of lost or damaged badges.
Facilitate the delivery of General Orientation Day 1 to new coworkers with enthusiasm and passion.
Facilitate a smooth and seamless transition from pre hire to a new coworker by ensuring that all training sessions and new coworker information are communicated effectively and consistent with Franciscan ministry
Serve as a “go to” resource for questions and or assistance during and after the new coworker’s onboarding experience.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study required
2 years’ experience in HR
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ensure smooth and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
Demonstrates the ability to present to groups of new coworkers regarding topics such as Policy and Procedures, Safety and Security, and Behavioral Expectations. Presents a positive and professional image.
Promotes and exemplifies our mission and values while engaging our new coworkers with an exceptional onboarding experience.
