The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting the payroll process and experience working with employees to support their needs.
Responsibilities:
Enter data into payroll/HRIS system in support of bi-weekly payroll processing and recordkeeping/reporting.
Update/Maintain standard HR related forms/templates.
File employment related documents in individual employee electronic files.
Research and gather required state/federal employment related postings on a regular schedule.
Respond in a timely manner to employment verifications and/or unemployment wage requests as needed.
Track and administer service award, employee recognition and other miscellaneous programs.
Participate in and support the efforts of the company’s Social Committee and WellBeing programs.
Prepare/produce HR management and ad-hoc reports, department invoices, organization charts, etc. as and when assigned.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in office administration/HR general support capacity.
Experience with or understanding of standard payroll processing activities is preferred.
Clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working in environment with high degree of confidentiality.
Proven ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and be an effective team member.
Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented and accurate.
High School diploma or equivalent.
