The position will be responsible for recruiting Veterinarians, Technicians, and support staff for hospitals in respective regions. This is a full life cycle recruiting position which requires an aptitude in managing the entire recruiting process. Responsible for building a network of veterinary contacts through partnership with University/Technician program liaisons to support filling open positions.
The ideal candidate will reside in the region in which they support and is able to travel throughout the area to visit hospitals and interact with candidates. This position is presumed to work remotely, expected to collaborate effectively, and will report directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment agreements, all while ensuring a great candidate experience.
Partner with university and technician program liaisons, as well as recruiting coordinator, to create a pipeline of talent.
Utilize multiple recruiting resources and advanced sourcing techniques to identify talent.
Responds to inquiries from the public and prospective applicants regarding job opportunities and qualifications, including externship candidates and summer job opportunities.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company’s ATS.
Attends conferences, job fairs, and other industry events to network and develop long-lasting professional relationships.

Manage candidate and hiring manager expectations throughout the recruiting process.
Maintains networking contacts for sourcing/recruiting future applicants.

Promotes Employee Referral Program.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Responsibility for managing one or more large regions and multiple requisitions.
Special Projects/Assignments as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA, DVM or other advanced degree, a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience Recruiting, preferably in the Veterinary industry.
Preferably resides in the Northeast.
