We are looking for a full time Medical Assistant Scribe to work in our West Jordan and Riverton OB GYN offices. Must be motivated, hardworking, dependable, flexible, organized, detail oriented, friendly, and a team player.

Hours are Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Taking vital signs
• Assess patients before exam
• Assist physicians with surgical procedures
• Administering injections
• Clean stock exam rooms
• Answering phone calls and calling patients concerning test results
• Work closely with physicians and physician assistants; performing intake interviews, presenting chief complaint, history of present illness and more
• Accurately transcribe information into the chart as provider examines patient, discusses the treatment/plan of care
• This person documents all patient interactions in electronic medical record

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification required
• 1-3 years of experience is required
• Experience with an electronic medical record system
• Two years or longer commitment
