Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Instructors interested in teaching students in our
Bachelor of
Science in Nursing program studying at our Tinley Park, IL campus.
No teaching experience is required. Nurses with solid clinical experience and completed
BSN are encouraged to apply!
This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your nurse educator experience, joining one of the largest
nursing schools in the nation with more than 130 years of history educating nurses.
We are presently accepting applications for our
upcoming May 2nd session in the following specialization:
Mental-Health Nursing
Emphasis is on the
dynamics of an individual’s ability to function in society. The course focuses on content relative to anxiety, self concept, thought
disorders, mood alterations, addictive behaviors, organic brain dysfunction, abuse and violence issues. It also incorporates health
promotion and wellness issues such as stress management and personal growth. Therapeutic communication techniques, individual and group
therapy practices and community mental-health resources are also incorporated.
Clinical teaching is typically scheduled for one
weekday for an 8-week session at a clinical partner site.
An IIinois and Indiana RN license is preferred.
Chamberlain
students have opportunities to experience practice settings that include large and small hospitals, long-term care facilities, community and
public-health agencies…anywhere healthcare is delivered.
Our clinical partners require all students and faculty to be fully
vaccinated against Covid-19, as such we will require proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to scheduling clinical dates.
