Job Description
The Specialty Infusion Account Representative will be responsible for developing the marketing and sales of Intramed Plus Infusion and Medical Centers’ specialty infusion program into a successful ambulatory infusion center. The Representative will cultivate business development opportunities for expanding specialty infusion services offered by Intramed Plus.
Specialty Infusion Account Representative Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify new specialty infusion business for assigned territory (Columbia, Greenville and Charleston) and target accounts
- Utilize knowledge and expertise of market trends to optimize sales strategy to drive business results in assigned market
- Ensure solid performance levels of call and field productivity as indicated in business plan
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and long-term relationships with physician staff and other target healthcare professionals
- Systematic analysis of sales activities to ensure established goals are being met
- Monitors new drug pipeline product development and identifies potential business opportunities for expanding specialty infusion services
Requirements:
- Professional and/or college degree in marketing/sales
- Sales and marketing experience in ambulatory infusion center and/or specialty infusion services
- Established relationship with physician practices in Columbia, Greenville and Charleston preferably in Neurology, Gastroenterology, Allergy/Immunology
- Confidence and high level of comfort with physicians as main call points
- Knowledge of specialty infusion therapies reimbursement policies preferred
- Personal computer experience
- Strong sales and marketing presentation skills
- Excellent decision making skills
- Strong communication, planning and organizational skills
