DEFINITION
This position is responsible for the Gas Department’s industrial metering program, telemetry/remote monitoring, gas system regulator stations/operating pressures, GIS data systems, emergency valve maintenance program, and coordinating work orders and GIS collection data for construction projects assigned to construction crews and contractors. This position will supervise personnel assigned by the Gas Director.

SUPERVISION CONTROLS
The Gas Director assigns work in terms of very general instructions. The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator spot-checks completed work for compliance with procedures and the nature and propriety of the final results.
GUIDELINES
Guidelines include the State of Georgia Code Title 46, the Code of Federal Regulations, the Natural Gas Fuel Code, city and county ordinances, and city and department policies and procedures. These guidelines require judgment, selection, and interpretation in application.
