Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of Human Resources functions. The primary functions will be full life cycle recruitment of associates at the corporate office, hiring and on-boarding functions, and associate engagement activities. Other responsibilities include preparing and maintaining employment records and HRIS data, reviewing timecards/payroll, assisting associates with HR related questions, and working on special projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Recruiting/Onboarding:
Responsible for full life cycle recruiting in the company’s ATS, post positions, work with hiring managers to phone screen and schedule interviews, extend offers and complete background screens
Responsible for facilitating the onboarding process with the hiring manager and conducting new hire orientations
Updating job descriptions and organizational charts
Engagement:
Plan, coordinate, and communicate company events as part of leading the Engagement Team
Maintain a calendar of events
Analyze associate survey results and create action plans to further engage associates
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Maintains associate information in company HRIS, including timecards/payroll review.
Responsible for electronic file maintenance including new hire paperwork, I9’s, handling confidential forms and records in accordance with company, state, and federal laws
Create and distribute Human Resources communications
Ensure compliance with HR related federal, state and local requirements and regulations, including but not limited to, Workers’ Compensation, FMLA, I-9s, FLSA, EEO and FCRA.
Assist with documenting procedures and creating materials to support ongoing HR activities
Performance Management and Associate Relations:
Serve as Human Resources contact for assigned associates. Respond to associate inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs, escalate as needed.
Assist with annual performance review processes
Coordinate the termination process including conducting exit interviews and completing necessary documentation
Maintain awareness of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. Generate and file all required reports as needed.

Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree preferred; Two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SHRM-CP or PHR Certification a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

Microsoft Office Suite software, HRIS software, and the Internet. ADP experience preferred.
Sound knowledge of state, local and federal employment laws
Must be able to exercise sound judgment with discretion
Understand and implement administrative policies and procedures
Able to conduct administrative analysis, run reports and navigate spreadsheets and databases effectively
Collect, evaluate and interpret varied data, evaluate alternatives and reach sound conclusions
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate with fellow team members including regional and remote associates
