Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Work alone giving total care or assist resident with the following: bed bath, tub bath or shower; dental, hair, nail, shaving, dressing, undressing, application of make-up, hearing aids and eye glasses.
- Answer all requests promptly.
- Encourage active participation of residents in meeting their needs by promoting individualized care and activity attendance.
- Observes and reports pertinent information concerning changes in behavior or physical state of a resident to the LPN/RN.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident, department and organizational information.
- Assure that all resident rights are maintained at all times.
- Report any abuse or neglect to appropriate staff. Have knowledge of how to file a complaint.
- Follow all safety, security and hazardous materials policies and procedures.
- Read individual service plan daily to check on services needed.
- Perform all resident cares as assigned and according to Chai Point assisted living policy and procedures and document cares given.
- Check on all assisted living residents in the morning.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
- CNA Certification required
- CBRF preferred
