Job purpose:

The position reports to the Controller and works closely with accounts payable & accounts receivable, payroll and a variety of other internal departments. Person must be diligent and self-motivated with attention to detail. This person will provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts.

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Analyze account balances for variances and prepare account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements using an integrated system.
• Prepare reports detailing monthly expenses by cost center.
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Analyze financial results, including comparisons to forecasted results and trended results.
• Reconcile intercompany charges.
• Interact with department managers to ensure proper accounting for purchases and expenses.
• Assist with the preparation of other reports provided to management.
• Assist with year-end audits and budgets.
• Other Functions Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective.

• Perform or assist in the processing of divisional credit card transaction
• Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
