The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for partnering with hiring managers & human resources generalists to develop and execute recruiting strategies. Responsibilities include full life-cycle recruitment, including preparing job postings, sourcing & screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing the candidate experience, negotiating offers and coordinating on-boarding processes. Responsible for managing all recruitment vendors including external agencies and RPO’s; pre-employment vendors; assessment vendors; and database and job board vendors. The Talent Manager will also manage and maintain the applicant tracking system and develop talent analytics/reports.
Responsibilities:
Lead intake meetings with HR generalist and hiring manager to discuss requirements for each approved requisition.
Develop sourcing strategy for each requisition to include target company list. (Sourcing: to include researching companies, database mining, internet research, LinkedIn and other social media prospecting, networking, professional associations and referral generation.)
Post positions on internal and external career sites and as needed with paid job boards.
Screen candidates to include technical fit for the position and culture fit for the team and the company, delivering a pipeline of qualified candidates to the hiring manager and HRG for assigned requisitions.
Communicating consistently with HR generalist and hiring manager regarding challenges, expectations and progress of all openings.
Disposition candidates consistently, using the applicant tracking system to record progress, and monitoring for compliant usage with team members.
Coordinate interview and assessment schedules.
Managing candidate experience on assigned requisitions.
Maintaining and managing the Applicant Tracking System.
Lead and manage internship program for all functions.
Develop Campus recruiting strategy for all functions and participate in College Career Fairs at select Universities.
Manage all recruitment vendors including external agencies (contingent, retained and RPO’s); pre-employment vendors; assessment vendors; and database and job board vendors.
Develop and build a preferred agency list.
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting hiring functions including the coordination of the enterprise wide AAPs.
Develop and enhance IDEAL’s Employment brand strategy to attract top talent including how we represent the company digitally.
Work with internal creative resources to produce marketing materials.
Perform key analysis and reports of talent acquisition efforts.
Qualifications:
BA/S, related degree, Human Resources degree preferred.
7-10 years of experience in Recruiting and Research/Sourcing. Project management experience a plus.
Ability to quickly learn technical and business concepts and to express them clearly.
High level of proficiency with job boards and social media sourcing.
Previous experience in campus recruiting a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication and selling skills.
Excellent phone presence.
Professional presentation.
Ability to be self-directed and motivated to keep searches moving to completion.
