This position provides support and performs various administrative duties for the Human Resource Department. The person occupying this position must possess an understanding of general human resources policies and procedures, must be knowledgeable in all areas related to federal and state employment law and regulations, and be able to recognize complex employment situations and decipher which laws or regulations apply. The Human Resource Compliance Generalist represents GIENC’s interest while at all times understanding the employee’s legal rights and responsibilities.
A four year degree in the field of Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university or college or four years of HR experience will also satisfy the educational requirements. PHR or SPHR preferred, but not required. EOE, Drug Free Workplace.
