Work Schedule: Monday (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and Tuesday-Friday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) The Human Resources Department supports team members on all shifts and HR will work hours according to the needs of our team members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Consults with the management to understand their recruitment needs.
Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase and respond to management requests for applications.
Checks candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds, as applicable.
Responds to applicant phone calls.
Prepare documents for HR Onboarding meetings.
Lead HR Onboarding meetings.
Schedules applicants for pre-employment medical screenings.
Submit applicant data to criminal history screening vendor.
Retrieve from vendors, medical screening results and criminal history results for assessment by Human Resources Manager.
Follows through with the onboarding process to acquire expected screening results and determine if the candidate can attend Orientation.
Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
Reconcile recruitment related billing (pre-employment screenings, staffing agency, and other related billing) for Human Resources Manager approval.
Prepare Orientation packets and assist the Human Resources Manager in the Monday Orientation program.
Create team member records in UKG and update UKG-Employee File Management system (EFM).
Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years (24 months) as a HR Recruitment Specialist.
Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Motor vehicle records check required for this position.
Work experience with HRMS preferred.
Must always maintain confidentiality.
Must be detail oriented, organized and an independent worker with problem solving skills.
Proficient business grammar skills and accurate spelling as part of effective and proficient communication, both orally and in writing.
Accurate mathematics skills are required.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, and the public.
Travel may be required as needed.
