Visiting Assistant Professor in Environmental Geoscience
The Department of Geosciences at the University of
Tulsa, Oklahoma, invites applications for a visiting assistant professor position in environmental geoscience (non-tenure track). A
Ph.D. in geoscience or a closely related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates who could fill our curricular
needs including geomorphology, hydrogeology, climate change, GIS and advanced electives that enhance our current geology, geophysics,
environmental science, and data science curricula. Candidates will be expected to develop new courses with large student enrollment and
attract students from other colleges. Research interests should be related to environmental geoscience. Experience in geospatial data
science and remote sensing would be a great asset.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate
and graduate levels and conduct research with students beginning August 2022. The University of Tulsa is a premier private,
