An Assistant Harbormaster is responsible for understanding and enforcing, in Beverly waters, all laws relating to boating and harbor regulations. Patrols Beverly waters to contribute to the effective operations and safe boating within Beverly waters. Works independently while maintaining and coordinating actions with coworkers, Beverly Police and other nautical agencies or organizations as necessary. Provides input to the Harbormaster pertaining to improvements, regulations, and standards of the department. Also provides problem analysis and evaluation and inputs into the decision making process affecting current programs and operating plans of the Harbormaster Department.
