KPaul is currently searching for full-stack Web Developers to join our team and help build the technology behind our custom applications, order entry platforms, marketing automation tools, production management applications and web platforms, all of which are vital to the overall success of KPaul.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of modern web development, great attention to detail, experience working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment, and the drive to stay on the cutting edge by continuously learning new things and growing as a developer.
Our Web Developer will work closely with the members of our internal Dev team and acquire skills in Network Engineering, Software Engineering, and Web Designing.
Responsibilities:
· Create websites using standard HTML/CSS/JavaScript from provided designs and functional requirements.
· Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
· Develop animations, navigation, interactivity, etc., using jQuery or other JavaScript libraries.
· Designing modern UI/UX for responsive web applications
· Code and script applications.
· Fix bugs and improve performance in existing applications
· Work with relational databases
· Create detailed project documentation
· Train and mentor other team members on design techniques, process, and coding standards
Skills:
· Coding and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python
· JavaScript frameworks like jQuery
· Testing and debugging
· Familiarity with issue tracking/code version tools
· Familiarity with FTPs
· Back-ends and databases
· Content Management Systems (WordPress, etc.)
· Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
· Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
· Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
· Understanding of network diagnostics and analytical tools

Education/Qualifications:
· A degree in Computer Science or related fieldsInteractive Computing or Digital Media or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of 3 years of web development
· Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
· Knowledge of Python as back-end language and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) is highly valued
