Job Description:
DevOps, backend API, and database architectural specialist for custom solutions within an existing application framework.
The architectural specialist will join a DevOps team that is building and supporting complex applications forming a cohesive platform.
This involves integrating an Angular 9+ frontend with and deploying on a Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
The product space is expanding both in terms of applications and technologies.
The architectural specialist must be able to successfully demonstrate the ability to design, code, test, document, deploy, and support cloud based as well as cloud native solutions.
Working independently, as well as within a team, exhibiting the ability to adapt and communicate are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Coding within a previously started application as well as completely brand-new development
Building and maintaining architecture
Ability to debug, test, and correct code issues.
Core Requirements
Associates or bachelors degree in Information Technology from an Accredited College or
University in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology with a
specialization in Software Development or Computer / Software Engineering plus a solid
understanding and skill in Object Oriented Programming
3 -5 years of experience in software engineering / applications & infrastructure architecture
At least 2 years of API development experience in .NET Core, Node.js, or Spring Boot with a MS
SQL or NoSQL database
Experience constructing, developing, and implementing microservices
Experience managing applications in an Azure DevOps environment
Experience with infrastructure as code and Terraform on Microsoft Azure
Have a passion to go above and beyond while achieving solid goal completion in a strict 40-hour
schedule
Has an architectural mindset including an understanding of SOLID and DRY principles?
Pay rate commensurate with knowledge and experience identified during the interview process
Preferred
Located within a daily commute of Whitehouse, Ohio or Southfield, Michigan
If Southfield, occasional daytime reimbursed road travel (10%) to Whitehouse, Ohio will
be required.

2+ years of frontend experience with Angular 9+
At least a year of experience as a full stack developer
At least a year of SecDevOps experience
Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert / Azure Developer Associate
Proficiency using Skillsoft / Udemy / Coursera / LinkedIn Learning
Agile Scrum Fundamentals, Product Owner, or Scrum Master Certifications
