We are looking for an HR Culture Ambassador to be the guardian and champion of our culture. For us, the job of running the department also involves working closely with our executive team. We believe it is imperative for Accounting, HR, Operations, and the CEO to collaborate on a business partnership. The head of HR must be able to give and receive open, direct, and honest feedback and operate as part of a united executive team.
Responsibilities include:

Partnering with the Executive team on decision-making concerning issues related to people and culture.
–
Managing our small but growing HR team.
–
Following the company’s methodology for hiring, onboarding, and exit interviews.
–
General HR responsibilities.
–
Team Building activities, virtual and in person
–
Evolving and improving the culture as opportunities arise
–
Evolving and improving the human resources department
–
Promoting employee ownership. Helping our employees understand and celebrate the benefits of working for a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP). Fostering an ownership mentality among our employee-owners.
–
Improving employee training.
–
Improving communication with employees about opportunities to advance their career within Life’s Abundance.
–
Managing the relationship between the company and our PEO provider

What will make you successful:
–
We are looking for an HR Generalist.
–
Minimum 3 years experience as an HR Generalist, trainer, or benefits coordinator
–
Associates degree or higher
–
Strong people skills
–
Strong verbal communication skills. This means communicating clearly, concisely, and professionally in one-on-one situations and in group settings. It also includes speaking up when the situation calls for it, although we do recognize that being a good listener is also a part of effective verbal communication.
–
Strong written communication skills – similar to verbal communication above, but applied to writing.
–
Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
–
Knowledge of standard computer programs and comfortable with computers and tablets
–
Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
–
Willingness and ability to occasionally travel domestically for training and company events
