Job Summary/Objective:
The HR Generalist will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and start-up environment.
The main duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents such as new hire and onboarding guides, and updating internal database.
The HRG will manage a wide range of HR tasks including but not limited to organizing trainings, administering employee benefits (should they become available), and leaves of absence, and
crafting HR policies.
You will utilize the HRIS to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and kept
confidential.
The primary goal is to ensure that the HR department’s operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Supervisory Responsibilities: May manage an HR team.
Essential Functions:

Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Provide courteous support to all staff on various HR-related topics such as leave of absence and
compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures.
Undertake tasks around performance management.
Organize semi- and annual performance reviews.
Gather, analyze, and present data using HR metrics such as time to hire and turnover rates.
Routinely audit employee files and records in electronic form and the HRIS.
Maintain employee files, both electronic and the HRIS.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, researching new perks and benefits and
suggesting team building activities.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations.
Maintain knowledge of human resources and systems practices by researching existing and new
legislation, consulting with outside professional resources, and utilizing advisors in the states’
where Collection Sites conducts business. Advises manager of actions and potential risks.
Effectively and professionally communicates and coordinates with other departments, clients,
vendors, and third parties.
Provides coaching and training for staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Desired Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred.
Knowledge of regulations and guidelines relating to human resources practices.
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
Ability to research, analyze, and summarize various types of HR data.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret practice standards, professional journals, technical
procedures and federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and requirements.
Proficiency in Mac and PC operating platforms, Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook,
and Word.
Self-starter with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Dependable team player with ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in management or human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
5 years’ general human resources experience, preferred.
Additional HR training a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Completion of office tasks that require sitting, standing, bending, twisting, grasping, and walking to other locations; attendance at meetings, both in-person and virtual; and participation in conference calls.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Travel Required
Some travel may be required.
