The Department of Economic Security is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Training Manager with the Office of Professional Development for the Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility (DBME). The DBME Training Manager is responsible for managing the personnel, day-to-day functions, and strategic planning for the development and delivery of DBME/FAA training. This position will report directly to the OPD Training Administrator.
This position provides critical support to the agency by managing the administration of the Learning and Development needs for the programmatic and systems training and education critical to the DES goal of helping the Arizona families we serve to move towards self-sufficiency.

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State-sponsored retirement contribution plan, and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement. You will also have the option to participate in a voluntary deferred compensation program to take advantage of tax-deferred retirement investments.
