Are you a kind, caring and dependable individual who enjoys helping others? Are you seeking a stable and rewarding part-time position? We have an immediate opening for a supportive home care employee in Madison.
Responsibilities include: assisting nursing staff with transfers and supporting client during personal cares, exercise, being out in the community, etc.
Competitive hourly pay rate: $17 -$18 per hour
Hours:
- Ideal = 10-15 hours per week
- Need = 2-3 hours per day between 11am-5pm
- Every day but Sunday
Other Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive client’s van.
- Prior experience working with people with disabilities preferred
- Experience in special education, nursing, CNA, or related field preferred
- Regularly required to lift 25 lbs. and assist nurse to move individual with limited mobility
- COVID restrictions are in place to ensure safety of client
