Description:
Projects Supported: Small Cell 5G Only Small Cell 4G Only Small Cell 4G & 5G (C-Band or 5GmmWave) ODAS Node IDAS Node Macro New Build (assumes 4G and C-Band) Macro Carrier Add (includes C-Band) Macro RELO Macro Drop & Swap Macro C-Band Prep/Conversion Macro Sector Add Baseband Upgrade The below tasks cover the major projects: Small Cell, IDAS, ODAS 5G Milestone Integration Tasks – Order License Key File (LKF) via IOP – Import LKF to Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) via IOP – Generate SiteInstall file (integration file) via IOP – Install SiteInstall file onto 5G radio – Once integration file reaches 65% install completion, click on the integrate icon – When integration file reaches 100%, the radio is ready to verify connectivity to ENM – Use ENM Scripting Server to verify that the ENM and radio are communicating – Verify node is synchronized – Verify node is on the latest software version, if not upgrade via ENM – Run Post Integration Script via ENM Scripting Server – Run Post Upgrade Script via ENM Scripting Server – Verify PTP timing – Repeat above steps for each 5G radio – Assuming there are no issues, hand over the project to System Performance (SP) to build anchors and run their scripts – SP will hand the project back to NA to finalize the activations process – Test all radio/sectors and do speed and ping tests – Enter testing data into IOP – Complete all IOP Quality Check List Tasks – Activate Call Signs in IOP (FINAL TASK & PAY POINT) Small Cell, IDAS, ODAS 4G Milestone Integration Tasks – Verify power, SFP, and overall Hub readiness to integrate baseband (reference RiPort Map) – Order License Key File (LKF) via IOP – Import LKF to Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) via IOP – Generate SiteInstall file (integration file) via IOP – Install integration file onto baseband – Once integration file reaches 65% install completion, click on the integrate icon – When integration file reaches 100%, the baseband is ready to verify connectivity to ENM – Use ENM Scripting Server to verify that the ENM and baseband are communicating – Verify node is synchronized – Verify node is on the latest software version, if not upgrade via ENM – Run Post Integration Script via ENM Scripting Server – Run Post Upgrade Script via ENM Scripting Server – Run 4X scripts in SAT Tool (if not done via the install files) – Verify PTP timing – Check RSSI on each radio/sector – Verify light levels on fiber – Assuming there are no issues, hand over the project to System Performance (SP) to build Golden Parameters and run their scripts – SP will hand the project back to NA to finalize the activations process – Perform E911 testing – Complete all IOP Quality Check List Tasks – Activate Call Signs in IOP (FINAL TASK & PAY POINT) Macro New Build, RELO and Drop-and-Swap 4G & C-Band Milestone Integration Tasks – Verify power, SFP, and overall Hub readiness to integrate baseband (reference RiPort Map) – Verify fiber path – Integrate IXRe at cell site (work with MSC) – Order License Key File (LKF) via IOP – Import LKF to Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) via IOP – Generate SiteInstall file (integration file) via IOP – Install integration file onto baseband – Once integration file reaches 65% install completion, click on the integrate icon – When integration file reaches 100%, the baseband is ready to verify connectivity to ENM – Use ENM Scripting Server to verify that the ENM and baseband are communicating – Verify node is synchronized – Verify node is on the latest software version, if not upgrade via ENM – Run Post Integration Script via ENM Scripting Server – Build ERAN via feature activation tool for carrier aggregation – Run Post Upgrade Script via ENM Scripting Server – Run 4X scripts in SAT Tool (if not done via the install files) – Verify PTP timing – Build RETs via IOP (scan & troubleshoot with tower crew if not visible in IOP) – Check RSSI on each radio/sector – Verify light levels on fiber – Assuming there are no issues, hand over the project to System Performance (SP) to build Golden Parameters and run their scripts – SP will hand the project back to NA to finalize the activations process – Perform E911 testing – Drive test site and test all sectors, to include speed tests – Complete all IOP Quality Check List Tasks – Punch down environmental alarms – Update FUZE Compliance (hazard materials on site) – Apply stickers and signage – Install and wire up Centeron Fuel Monitor – Activate Call Signs in IOP (FINAL TASK & PAY POINT) Macro Carrier Add C-Band Modification Milestone Integration Tasks – Verify power, SFP, and overall Hub readiness to integrate baseband (reference RiPort Map) – Integrate IXRe at cell site (work with MSC) – Order License Key File (LKF) via IOP – Import LKF to Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) via IOP – Work with tower crew for radio swap out (RUL/RUS to 4449 and/or 8843) – Use scripting tool and SAT Tool to add and delete radios from existing baseband – Generate SiteInstall file (integration file) via IOP – Install integration file onto new baseband (6648) – Once integration file reaches 65% install completion, click on the integrate icon – When integration file reaches 100%, the baseband is ready to verify connectivity to ENM – Use ENM Scripting Server to verify that the ENM and baseband are communicating – Verify node is synchronized – Verify node is hand the project back to NA to finalize the activations process – Drive test site and test all sectors, to include speed tests – Perform E911 test (if required…usually at a 700MHZ only site getting upgraded) – Complete all IOP Quality Check List Tasks – Punch down environmental alarms – Update FUZE Compliance (if any new hazard materials were added to site) – Apply stickers and signage (for new cabinets) – Activate Call Signs in IOP (FINAL TASK & PAY POINT)
