Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking for an experienced HR Compensation Analyst to join our growing corporate HR team! The HR Analyst is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills. This position requires excellent employee relations and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, HR Analysts should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships. Top candidates will be comfortable managing grey areas, and effective in exercising judgment on departmental operation goals, standards, training, policies, and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
· Interviews and surveys employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
· Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
· Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
· Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales.
· Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
· Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
· Research employee benefits in similar industries; based on findings, recommends changes or updates to the company’s existing benefits or policies.
· Conducting job analyses to create a thorough understanding of all tasks and activities a job involves.
· Analyzing a company’s remuneration structures and policies and implementing improvements.
· Researching employee salaries, benefits, and total rewards in similar roles, organizations, and industries and recommending changes based on findings.
· Conducting surveys, one-to-one interviews, and focus groups with employees and managers to document duties, responsibilities, and skills required for each position.
· Collecting feedback on compensation-related issues through the above-mentioned research methods.
· Collecting and analyzing data from market-based compensation surveys to determine market trends.
· Evaluating and implementing job analysis tools, techniques, and materials.
· Conducting data on employee productivity and cost analyses for use in employee negotiations and bargaining agreements.
· Liaising with insurance brokers and investment planners to create competitive benefits packages for the company and facilitating enrolment for insurance and retirement plans.
· Planning and communicating best practices for evaluating and compensating employees.
· Researching and advising on relevant state and federal laws to ensure the organization remains compliant with its compensation policies.
· Update employee roles and pay into the system as and when required
· Review and implement vacation and sick leave plans for employees based on their work location.
· Help HR Department run Total Rewards data analysis on usage of variety of fields.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
· CCP or similar certification.
· PHR certification.
· 3+ years of work experience as a Compensation Analyst.
· Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
· Outstanding people skills.
· One to three years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
