We are searching for a Director of People Experience (Director of People Operations) with a background in project management and driving change. Our goal is to build the best People & Talent team in healthcare. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the ideal candidate will play a central role in defining the employee experience, including onboarding, performance, development, compensation, and beyond. The Director of People Experience will manage a growing team in the United States and Portugal.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement world-class people programs throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience, optimize people processes, and make informed decisions using a data-driven approach.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and direction for managers throughout the organization to build and implement effective, efficient, and consistent operational processes.
- Oversee and manage core HR compliance programs including federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Standardize processes around employee total rewards, compensation, benefits, and equity.
- Implement metrics throughout the entire employee lifecycle to drive innovation and iterative improvements.
- Provide learning opportunities to direct reports to foster a culture of learning & development.
What you need to be successful:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, people operations, and managing teams.
- Strong change management skills to drive structural change throughout a rapidly scaling organization.
- A data-driven approach to identify opportunities and promote innovative solutions.
- Exceptional people skills to foster deep relationships with managers, directors, and executives.
- Possess a learning-centric management style.
- Ability to manage others in a remote-first environment.
- Background in medical or medical technology is a plus, but not required.
