We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and take charge of all things human resources. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of a wide range of HR matters and a solid knowledge of labor legislation. Our biggest investment is our people, and you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.
What You’ll Do:
Hire employees as needed to help grow our firm.
Prepare, review, and distribute compensation and benefits packages.
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation
Help design and implement engaging policies that support our remote-friendly work environment – like remote togetherness initiatives and more.
Work in tandem with our Training Manager to create firm-wide learning programs and objectives.
Design and implement a 360-review program that provides everyone the chance to receive constructive feedback.
Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures.
Update and maintain employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.
Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records.
Forecast hiring needs and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly.
Monitor compensation packages and personnel budgets.
Consider employees your internal customer – and be ready to respond/find answers to questions in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date and compliant with changes in labor legislation.
Must-Haves:
Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist.
Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (we use JazzHR).
