Position summary:
You will be the ambassador of our practices’ first impressions of patients. You will help patients while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. You will be professionally answering phone calls in a polite tone, re-directing calls to respective departments, booking consultations, and scheduling appointments.
You must be able to multi-task and handle yourself well under pressure.
Job Description: Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel.
Patient
· Greet patients warmly & professionally.
· Schedule appointments & manage the schedule to maximize efficiency.
· Manage referrals & and medical records requests.
· Check patients in, accurately record intake forms, driver’s license, and insurance information
· Support the Mission, Vision, and core values of the practice
· Basic clerical duties, such as faxing and photocopying
Requirements:
· Ability to build positive relationships with a high level of interpersonal skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment
· Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality
· Must be proficient in handling office equipment, including multiple-lined telephones, printers, photocopiers, scanners, etc.
· Dependable, punctual, and able to work in flexible working hours
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel.
