DESCRIPTION
Under the general supervision off the Administrative Director and the Quality Medical Director and guided by the policies and procedures of the health system inclusive of both ambulatory services and inpatient acute care, the BMT Quality and Data Management Manager will plan, organize, direct, implement and evaluate the quality management plan of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. The incumbent will work closely with providers, nursing, collections (both apheresis and marrow), stem cell processing, and BMT support staff to achieve the highest quality and best possible outcomes for the patient population in a cost effective manner and in compliance with all regulatory agencies. As needed, the incumbent will generate recommendations to address deficiencies in compliance with applicable regulations.
Key areas of responsibility include 1) hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of data managers and quality analyst. 2) assuring compliance with regulatory and patient safety goals and standards 3)in collaboration with key BMT division leaders, provide oversight and implementation of all BMT related policies, procedures, and controlled documents to maintain excellence in care and maintenance of FACT accreditation 4) hands on participation in data registry entry/management as needed to achieve CIBMTR, RFI and other deadlines, as well as oversight, compilation and presentation of BMT data 5) assuring required licensure, registrations, and agreements are current, and 6) leading performance improvement initiatives as they relate to BMT quality.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or related profession; or a combination of comparable clinical education and experience.
Five (5+) or more years of relevant experience in quality and performance improvement.
Experience and proven ability to effectively supervise a team and to manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities involved with quality improvement.

Annual Full Pay Range: $78,900 – $179,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $37.79 – $86.16
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
