Description:
The Benefits & Wellness Specialist is responsible for assisting with the administration of the Company’s benefits and wellness programs.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
•Support benefits and wellness initiatives.
•Leads the Employee Engagement and Wellness Committee.
•Assists with implementation of new benefits programs and benefits providers.
•Performs ongoing audits of all benefits enrollments to ensure accuracy.
•Reconciles and submits invoices.
•Assists with new-hire benefits enrollments. Audits data to ensure accurate transmission of employee information to benefit vendors and providers.
•Responds to escalated employee questions and issues.
•Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
•Distributes benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility, as needed.
•Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes, as needed.
•Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
•Assists with the open enrollment process and plan renewals.
•Assists with standard and ad-hoc reporting. Assists with improvement of processes to drive efficiencies. Documents administrative processes and develops/maintains procedures for benefit functions.
•Collaborates with external partners to ensure program operational effectiveness.
•Works collaboratively with all levels of leadership.
•Works independently, with guidance in complex situations.
•Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.

Qualifications:
1+ years of administrative support experience. Looking for someone eager to grow within HR!
HR/Benefits experience is very nice to have and she would also be open to seeing candidates with some years of experience.

•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

•Sense of urgency and a results-oriented attitude.
•Must be results oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple projects.

•Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Preferred/Required:
•Bachelor’s or associate degree in human resources or related field of study.
•Driving is required for this position to accomplish work. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and possess and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout the course of employment.
