Job Summary:
We are seeking a Part-Time Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department for a period of 4 months. The HR Assistant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
· Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding process
· Assist with employee relations by responding to employee inquiries and concerns
· Maintain employee files and update HRIS system
· Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and termination
· Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
· Support employee engagement initiatives and events.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 1-year experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an HR department.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
· Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
· Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
· Bilingual Spanish language skills are preferred.
