Job Description:
In this highly collaborative role you will use your expertise in human resources to:
Working knowledge and practical experience across multiple human resource responsibilities – pay and benefit practices, performance and behavior management, ability and motivation to implement, guide and utilize HRIS administration systems, timekeeping/payroll, benefits administration, employee safety, leave management and employee relations.
Administer, develop, and implement human resources policies and procedures.
Manage benefits administration and reporting; communicate benefits information to employees.
Conduct recruitment and talent acquisition.
Lead Trainings including Onboarding and Sexual Harassment

Qualifications:
Your background, experience, and interests include:
A bachelor’s degree and three to five years of HR experience, or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience
Excellent time management skills; accustomed to meeting tight deadlines
Prior experience recruiting for production line employees
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the HR team and management team
Experience with HRIS, iCIMS and Payroll systems; Kronos experience is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Programs: Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.

At Wallenius Wilhelmsen and across our businesses, salaries are determined by position, level, location, and similar factors. The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations. Equally as important, as a team member, individual earnings may consider knowledge, skills, abilities, work location and related factors. The current base salary range for this position is $65,000-80,000. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members are also eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs. Some roles in the company may offer an additional annual bonus. Additional details on salary or pay ranges and benefits will be available through the interview and employment process. Salary or pay ranges are separate from bonus opportunities and/or benefit plans.
