A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNT MANAGER (MEDIA PLANNING / MEDIA BUYING)
As an Account Manager of Media Planning and Media Buying, you combine your digital media expertise with the knowledge of your colleagues to create an integrated strategy rooted in performance.
Do you enjoy working with others collaboratively? In this digital media planning role, you promote positive working relationships within the marketing department and with the vendor community. Interacting with a variety of people throughout your day is something you love about your job! Whether it’s negotiating with media partners, developing relationships with national and regional media outlets, working with vendors to ensure timely delivery and approvals for media plans, or teaming up with our digital organizer to ensure effective communication, you enjoy each opportunity to collaborate.
Are you detail-oriented and organized? Those skills come in handy as you make sure that traffic sources and privacy policies meet compliance standards, track monthly updates detailing business development activity, and oversee the acquisition of compliance processes to use names, logos, and matter descriptions in marketing materials. You stay on top of key media trends and monitor the news cycle in order to take rapid response actions.
