Our experienced team assists moving freight across oceans and delivering to all points in the US and abroad.Our continuing growth is such that we need to add to our domestic services team. Our Portland office is looking for a full-time entry-level Operations Assistant to join our team. Our office culture is important to us. Our team members all share a positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, patience and excellent communication skills. This enables them to provide excellent customer service even during fast-paced days.Salary and Benefits: $19 per hour to start or DOE. Health & Dental insurance, PTO, holidays, and simple IRA retirement savings with partial employee match.Responsibilities Answering phone calls and entering orders into our dispatch software Answering e-mail and responding back with quotes Working with the dispatch and domestic teams to assist in scheduling delivery appointments Keep customers and staff updated on projects and deliveries Ensure proper paperwork is received before sending to accounting Creating invoicesSkills & Qualifications Organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment Reliable and a self-starter Independent with great time management skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Willingness to learn and to grow with the company Strong verbal and written communications skills Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeJob Type: Full-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:
