What you’ll be doing:
· Online sourcing, special order quoting and order management of non-stock product(s) for Staples external customers (Sales, Customer Service, CSCs, LOBs & External Customers)
· Negotiating item cost, availability, and logistics- in varying complexity
· Achieve departmental buyer goals and objectives
· Navigating vendor network and exploring innovative new sources to deliver best fit, appropriate solutions including substitute products as applicable
· Support External and Internal Customers, including the Sales Team, Contract Customer Care and Vendors
· Responsible for executing daily purchase of drop ship and FC (fulfillment center) special ordering for Staples Customers
· Use AS400 purchasing systems, E-forms, Commerce Hub etc. to proactively manage and process customer dropship orders
· Work with multiple staples teams (merchandising, finance, vendor compliance etc) to proactively address SKU issues and vendor compliance

Qualifications :
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years’ working experience in customer service or a related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate websites
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of systems: AS400, Commerce Hub, NSP eForm
· Customer service experience in a fast-paced direct customer environment
· Strong Microsoft Excel a plus
· Custom manufacturing/imprinting background a plus
