Building Inspector I & II:
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications:
Building Inspector I:
*All Provisional and/or Standard Licenses must be issued by the State of Florida, Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR).
Building Inspector II:
*All Provisional and/or Standard licenses must be issued by the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).

Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
E-Work/Hybrid Work: Currently this position is eligible to e-work up to 2 days per week! After you complete your first six months and are contingent on work requirements and other factors, you’ll be eligible for this fantastic benefit.
Building Codes Inspector I:
Starting Pay Range: $25.76 – $28.76 based on experience.
Position Salary Range: $21.02 – 36.48
Building Codes Inspector II:
Starting Pay Range: $29.07 – $33.31 based on experience.
Position Salary Range: $24.78 – $41.84
