Examinations
Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant’s training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any combination of the following: Investigation, oral exam and rating of the application.
Should an oral examination be necessary, the oral examination will be weighted at 100%.
Applicants must attain at least 70% score on each phase of the examination process.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must possess a current valid certification(s) in P.C. 832 Arrests & Firearms at the time of appointment. Failure to obtain and maintain a current and valid registration may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Preferred Qualifications
FAA Private or Commercial Pilot’s license.
Accreditation or certification from American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) or Southwest Chapter of American Association of Airport Executives (SWAAAE)
