Job Summary
The Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of video projects, ranging from commercials to long-form content. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the client and internal stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Act as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
• Regularly communicate project updates, timelines, and milestones to clients.
• Communicate with a multidisciplinary team, including producers, directors, editors, and other creative professionals.
• Ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Work closely with the account and production team to manage project and filming budgets.
• Monitor project expenses, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with the creative team, including Creative Directors and Editors, to ensure creative objectives align with project goals.
• Facilitate communication between the project team and the Post department
• Anticipate and address any potential challenges that may impact the project timeline.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that the final product meets high standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and revisions to maintain quality throughout the production process.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Proactively address challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with the accounting team to create, review, and send client invoices.
• Ensure accuracy in invoicing and timely collection of revenue.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Proficiency: Microsoft Programs – Outlook Mail & Calendar, Word, Excel, Pages, PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Mac OS
• Preferred experience with Adobe Workfront, AirTable, Asana or other similar project management or CRM software and systems.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to self-manage and work in a cooperative role
Education and Experience
• 2+ Years’ Experience in Account or Project Management in Marketing, Advertising, Fundraising, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in video production.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with video production processes and equipment.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
