One of the key responsibilities of the VP is the creation and analysis of business and financial cases for M&A and partnership activities. This involves conducting research, conducting market research, and analyzing the financial performance of potential targets. The VP also collaborates closely with finance and legal teams to ensure accurate and informed financial modeling and due diligence.
In addition to overseeing M&A and partnership projects, the VP also manages each stage of the transaction process. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure deal milestones are met and objectives are achieved. The VP also works closely with the CEO and CFO to provide regular updates on transaction progress and to communicate any potential risks or challenges.
As a strategic leader, the VP participates in the formulation of the company’s overall strategy. They analyze industry trends, identify potential growth opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations for mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, the VP maintains relationships with top level executives in the industry, representing our company’s interests and building relationships with potential partners or acquisition targets.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the VP will provide strategic guidance and support to the CFO and other executive leaders on M&A and partnership activities. The VP also serves as a trusted advisor on strategic initiatives, providing valuable insights and recommendations to the CEO and other senior management.
