About the Role:
The Supply Chain Coordinator acts as an interface between Pret A Manger’s Supply Chain and Buying teams, Pret’s warehouses, shops, logistics partners and suppliers. The primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth and efficient end-to-end supply chain execution – from onboarding new suppliers and setting up ingredients to overseeing shop orders and deliveries. As the Coordinator, this individual will manage commercial data, execute logistics operations and admin tasks and ensure excellent execution of supply chain services for Pret’s equity shops and franchise customers.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn about supply chain, logistics and buying in the fast-paced Retail Food & Beverage industry. This individual must have strong organizational and communication skills, as the critical link between Pret, our customers and our vendors.
This role will be a strategic asset to the organization, playing the essential role of executing Pret’s food strategy and supporting franchise partners. As the Pret footprint expands across the US, this individual will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility.
The Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain & Logistics Senior Manager.
***This role will split work 50%/50% from the Moonachie, New Jersey Warehouse and the Manhattan office.
Responsibilities:
Logistics Customer Service & Operations
· Serve as daily contact for Shop customers, managing Shop order adjustments, investigating order or delivery issues and partnering with Logistics Manager to ensure Shops receive sufficient stock to meet daily sales targets.
· Maintain Shop order guides to reflect any ingredient updates, partnering with Demand Analyst to update guides according to inventory movement at the warehouse.
· Analyze Shop requests for credit from suppliers in scenarios concerning product quality or receiving incorrect quantities.
· Communicate product shortages to Shops daily.
· Coordinate with Buyers and Quality Assurance teams to collect necessary credits from suppliers.
Inventory Database Management:
· Execute Food Development & Buying strategy via data management into Pret’s proprietary warehouse management system (Minster Edge) including new vendor setup, new item setup with logistics specs and prices.
· Oversee goods price management in partnership with Buying and Logistics, to ensure system prices reflect supplier price changes or logistics cost optimizations.
· Track and report supplier service levels to Demand Analyst and the Buyers to support supplier scorecard management.

Qualifications:
– Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on follow-up and organizational capability.

– Proficient in Excel
– Strong master data management knowledge, with experience with warehouse management software a plus.
– Experience working with advanced commercial datasets, price catalogues and/or product specifications.
– Experience in Supply Chain & Logistics, Buying, or related fields within the Retail Food & Beverage industry.
Compensation: $62,500
