The mission of the Infection Control (IC) team at MSK is to provide the safest care for our patients through education, research, and evidence-based best practices to prevent healthcare-associated infections. We also engage in research to further the mission of infection prevention, especially among cancer patients. Our service consists of nurses, preventionists, and surveillance specialists with expertise in various areas of healthcare epidemiology.
