St. Mary Our Mother School, located in Horseheads, NY (Southern Tier NY), is seeking a Full Time Grade 5 Teacher for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. This person will be responsible for teaching math to students in grades 5 & 6, as well as science, social studies, health, and religion to grade 5 students five days a week for the 2021-2022 school year. The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized individual with classroom teaching experience and a passion for education. This person should have strong communication skills and be willing and able to collaborate with others as part of a professional learning community. He or she should have the ability to plan and implement standards-based curriculum, instruction, and assessments that are differentiated to meet the various learning needs and levels of students, while including technology to enhance the learning experience. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28,000.00 – $32,000.00 per year
