Catholic Charities Madison is seeking a Human Resources professional to partner with management and employees in the areas of employee relations, talent acquisition, employee engagement & retention, and policy interpretation. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources. The Human Resources Generalist is a new position within the HR function that will support the operations throughout the organization. In addition to providing day-to-day direction on HR policies and processes, the candidate selected will be responsible for managing the recruitment and employment functions for these the agency including sourcing and screening candidates and providing finalist for placement. The HR Generalist will also gather and analyze employee retention data and provide oversight and direction on effective onboarding and initial training processes for new hires. The successful candidate will be key in the development and use of technology as it relates to recruitment, record keeping and employee communication. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for benefits administration, assisting in the onboarding of new employees, and additional project work as assigned. The most qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3+ years of HR experience including:
