The Nurse role is responsible for ensuring all Affiliated AMIkids Program clients receive the proper medical treatment as dictated by Rule 63M-2 F. A. C.. The Nurse is responsible for sick call, routine medical care including episodic care, admission required screenings, medical records upkeep, communication with offsite medical providers, transportation when required, training for program staff, routine emergency drills, and monitoring of all clients’ medical and dental needs.
