Files, activates and closes OOMA maintenance actions as required to release aircraft Safe for Flight. Provides active planning in all aspects of release. Maintains certain aircraft and aircrew flight records. Coordinates with all maintenance supervisors on prioritizing daily tasks. : Ensure no downing discrepancies. Review SCIR-impacting discrepancies against mission profile. Ensure deferred non-conformances have been evaluated and documented as Safe for Flight by those authorized to make that determination (NGC). Inspections: Ensure no overdue inspections. Ensure that all prescribed inspections have been completed. Account for all tools prior to releasing the AV Safe for Flight. This accounting encompasses a screening query of OOMA toolbox assignment records. Ensure aircraft are not released to flight status (after a FOE/FOD incident) until the (Missing, Broken, Worn Tool or Hardware Report) has been signed Release for Flight by the Maintenance Officer (or designee).Assists visiting aircrew with flight planning, briefing, filing, weather and local transportation needs. Serves as point of contact for incoming ferry flights coordination of airfield, tower, maintenance, and aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) operations.Additional duties:Weight and Balance Technical Specialist: The Weight and Balance Program falls under the Configuration Management Office (CMO) area of responsibility. NGC Safe for Flight personnel will verify the Form F and the aircraft configuration and ensure it matches the requirements of the flight schedule. This position will require a 50% travel consideration. Secret clearance required to start Typical Minimum Education / Experience6 Years with Associates; 4 Years with Bachelors Additional Experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.Salary Range: 61400 – 92000Salary Range 2: 55800 – 83600Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
