Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform the full-cycle Accounts Receivable & Payable process including posting payments to customer accounts, entering credit memos and adjustments, contacting customers on past-due payments, and reconciling the Accounts Receivable aging reports to meet or exceed company standards
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy
- Assist with the preparation and review of company financial statements and statistical reporting including journal entries
- Assist the daily banking activities including deposits, wires, and cash position
- Review, analyze, and reconcile GL accounts including payables, receivables, cash, pre-paid, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities
- Assist in month-end close process
- Support and assist the budget generation process
- May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions
- Lead team oriented projects to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Review statements and identify discrepancies.
- Must work flexible hours to work with corporate offices in Shenzhen China
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting strongly preferred.
- Customer service oriented.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with co-workers and others.
- Desire to develop leadership and technical skills; pursue advancement opportunities within the company.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel (charts, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) and Access skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Deadline oriented and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to research and problem solve.
- Positive attitude and “can-do” approach to issue resolution
