OSP Drafting Engineer

Remote OSP Drafting Engineers with ARAMIS and AT&T experience to work on a long-term (3+ years) project.

You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Recent, significant experience using ARAMIS is required.

Previous AT&T LightGIG experience is a plus.

Requirements

· Thorough understanding of various OSP Tools, processes, and guidelines.

· Understand & perform scoping of all the OSP related project.

· Design, provision, document, OSP fiber optic cable (UG, Aerial, Buried) and manhole and conduit design.

· Support the design and engineering process by planning and preparing drawings for construction of new, and removal or rearrangement of existing fiber optic cables and conduits.

· Complete understanding of quality checklists, and have prior experience performing QC for carrier projects.

· Adept at reading and understanding highway/road prints, able to identify conflicts with existing OSP facilities, select routing of lines and equipment required for work projects.

· Can create make ready analysis, pole surveys, fill out OCALC data sheets, QC prints, preparation of prints and assist in preparing bid documentation.

· Should have good customer, vendor, and project management skills and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $1,800.00 – $2,500.00 per week
