AAA Oregon/Idaho Hiring for Manager, Fleet Services Operations Job at Portland, OR Full Time

AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team of roadside heroes!

In partnership with our Fleet Director, the Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring high level service to members at the roadside across the Portland metro area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety, financial, operational, and service goals are met.
• Assist with the hiring, training, and development of roadside staff (Tow and Roadside Light Service/Battery).
• Oversee fluctuating staffing and scheduling to meet roadside demand trends.
• Ensure and monitor resources to meet member service needs.
• Monitor member quality ratings and develop plans to address any/all ways to improve.

Desired skills:

• 5+ years operations, logistics, and service delivery experience required; experience in fleet/driving operations in a 24-hour shift environment highly preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory experience with knowledge of performance management, goal planning and employee development.
• Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience in a similar industry preferred.
• Strong service and communication skills, across diverse populations required.
• Ability to react quickly to complex situations involving problem-solving and requiring advanced data analysis skills.
• Ability to forecast, prepare and analyze work force management.
• Strong computer application skills, including proficiency in Excel.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred but not required (bilingual pay differential)

This is a full-time, onsite position based out either our SE Portland Fleet facility or SW Portland Fleet facility located in Tualatin.
