Now Hiring 1st Shift CAD Designers for our client in the Middleton, WI area!
Job description
The CAD Design and Project Estimator will design grain plants and feed mills thru the use of Solid Works and clearly communicate the project with the sales staff, installation crew and customers.
Pay ranges:$25.00 – $35.00
Location:
Fall River, WI
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 1st shift – (40-50 hours)
POSITION
REQUIREMENTS
• Prefer 2 years or more of Solid Works experience and EPDM
• Knowledge of grain plants and feed mills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Strong Excel knowledge and skills
PRIMARY
DUTIES:
• Use Solid Works software for designing projects
• Use quoting program to estimate and communicate the project’s expected costs and profit
• Communicate the project details amongst staff members and respective customer
• Create work orders for shop built parts
• Visit vendors
• Help sales team present layout to customers
OTHER ASSIGNMENTS:
• Help walk in customers get the parts they need
• Create pull list and work orders for field guys as needed
• Deliver parts to jobsites as needed
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Customer visits as required to get job done
• Travel to jobsites to measure and verify facilities
• Climb towers/bins to look at equipment
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• General office setting
• Help field crew install equipment as needed

• Create and customize a design specific to your needs
• Fabricate and paint custom components for any project
• Maintain a large inventory of parts to fix equipment quickly
• Work closely with vendors to meet the needs of customers
• Install equipment for any small or large project
• Offer emergency breakdown service
• Service dryers
